2014-15 Top League
The 2014-15 Top League format was divided into three phases. The top four teams from each pool in the first phase would progress to the second phase. The top four sides from the second phase would then play a final play-off tournament to decide the winner of the 2014-15 Top League.
The top four teams from pool in the first stage progressed to the second phase, while the bottom four played a round-robin tournament to determine wild-card entry to the All-Japan Rugby Football Championship. Teams that finished 1st in their pool in the first stage began the second phase with 4 points, those in 2nd with 3, 3rd with 2 and 4th with 1.
